This sanctuary comes under “Project Tiger”. The key feature of this project is the protection of the endangered tigers. This project also encourages eco tourism. It houses Bengal tigers and many other wildlife species like Himalayan Bears, elephants, deer, jackals etc amongst thick dense forest.
